ELLA
Ella has proudly owned Ajax Pet Care since it opened in 1989. She takes an enormous amount of pride in the facility and staff. Each staff member is handpicked for their patience, love and compassion of animals.
Her two legged family consists of her three children and her EXTREMELY patient husband who is often surprised at the end of the day when he comes home to a new pet that is
“just staying the weekend”. Once owning five rescue dogs at one time (yikes) her family is now down to their three rescues Charlotte, Carry-on, and Peppa Chanel (Pinky).
Having said that there is always a freeloader hanging around until they are placed in their forever home. So while most tend to leave their work behind at the office, occasionally she takes hers home, much to the delight of her family.
Ella has been “semi retired” since 2022 BUT will never really retire from APC. Her passion and love for the dogs, staff, and clients remain as strong as when she first opened the Pet Care Centre 35 years ago. You can always find Ella “helping” the younger staff at work, but more often, she’s tending the gardens, decorating, or doing paperwork.
CORINNE
Corinne is our dynamic receptionist who also doubles as kennel staff. Corinne is one of a kind to work with and will always be ontop of everything going on around her. She can multitask like you have never seen (great trait to have here) and always does so with a smile on her face. Corinne has the most contagious giggle you have ever heard in your life! She is very diligent making sure the dogs are well cared for and has an extremely compassionate nature. She has worked with us since 2005 and is extremely dedicated to the dogs and her job. When not at work you can find Corinne hanging out with her favourite guys “The Cow” aka “Cowboy” and Chance both rescues from APC. She thinks the sun rises and sets on her dogs so who are we to tell her different.
LYNSAY
Lynsay has worked with us at Ajax Pet Care since 2018. She is now a supervisor and looks after all the fur babies as though they were her own.
Her 2 daughter‘s Tessa (on the left) and Toe (on the right) can often be seen playing with their many friends at work! Outside of work, you can find her spoiling her girls, going on hikes, trips to the beach and camping. Lynsay has recently bought a house and got engaged to Nicholas (who is equally as dog crazy).
Lynsay ALWAYS goes above and beyond at work and we don’t know what we would do without her!

Hello! My name is Hanan and I am currently studying global politics, but animals, especially dogs, have always taken up a large and special place in my heart. I’ve been working at APC for a little under a year and have loved every second of it! I lost my very best friend, Caesar a year ago (pictured above in our matching pjs), but having the opportunity to care for and share my heart with all the pups that come in has made working at APC the most fulfilling job.
